 A sand-carrying semi-tractor and trailer struck the McCormick Road bridge over Emmet Street on Thursday, damaging the trailer. The Abilene Motor Express truck, with an estimated height of about 13 feet, 5 inches tall, tried to negotiate the bridge which has a maximum clearance of 12-feet, 5 inches, according to Charlottesville police.  Nellie Ashmore picks marigolds while her dog, Brodie, frolics next to her at her family’s farm in Clarksville, Ohio, Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013. Ashmore grew up farming with her family who own That Guy's Family Farm. The family sold cut flowers in addition to produce and poultry. This past year Ashmore turned flowers into a full time job, planting and selling under the brand That Girl's Flowers. Ashmore spent Wednesday making bouquets for a grocery store that stocks her inventory.

A sand-carrying semi-tractor and trailer struck the McCormick Road bridge over Emmet Street on Thursday, damaging the trailer. The Abilene Motor Express truck, with an estimated height of about 13 feet, 5 inches tall, tried to negotiate the bridge which has a maximum clearance of 12-feet, 5 inches, according to Charlottesville police. Nellie Ashmore picks marigolds while her dog, Brodie, frolics next to her at her family’s farm in Clarksville, Ohio, Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013. Ashmore grew up farming with her family who own That Guy's Family Farm. The family sold cut flowers in addition to produce and poultry. This past year Ashmore turned flowers into a full time job, planting and selling under the brand That Girl's Flowers. Ashmore spent Wednesday making bouquets for a grocery store that stocks her inventory.
